We have completed 248 operations under local anaesthetic and are delighted with the results. Please read our reviews on the testimonials page.

We are also proud of our contribution in reducing the carbon footprint of surgery. Traditional surgery under general anaesthesia is responsible for 58% of the total NHS carbon footprint.

We estimate that have saved the planet 6000kg CO2 emissions by using local anaesthetic as opposed to anaesthetic gases and/or propofol sedation. This has protected approximately 150 million phytoplankton who have a very important job in maintaining the atmospheric oxygen.

Local anaesthetic surgery is not fully without a carbon footprint however is definitely the earth friendly option. Another good reason to come and see us.
