The NHS is about to begin an exciting initiative to diagnose bowel cancer by swallowing a small capsule containing a capsule. An initial group of 11,000 NHS patients in England will receive the capsule cameras in more than 40 parts of the country. More information can be found on the NHS England website. Laxatives are still needed before the test but no tube needed!
